Economics in One Day
“Economics is fun and inspiring. Since human choice is the starting point for all of economics, learning it should be relatable and intuitive. This is the attitude of Economics in One Day,” says FEE’s President, Larry Reed.
This positive attitude is why Maurie Franco and the Bastiat Society of Ecuador volunteered to translate this new program into Spanish.
Because of her chapter’s work, the Bastiat Society of Panama was able to host an Economics in One Day seminar for nearly 25 people recently – and they plan host more of these seminars in the future.
With the goal of engaging young entrepreneurs and business students, several more chapters throughout Latin America will soon host events like this.
This is just one example of what the Bastiat Society network can do when they work closely with our partner groups around the world. Positive stories like this would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of our volunteers throughout our chapter network.
