IHS has an extensive database of 5000 dynamic scholars around the U.S., all of whom are trying new ideas and eager to hear feedback on their research.
As a chapter director, you have two options:
1.) Topic-Specific Search - Ask IHS to find a rising scholar to present on a specific topic.
2.) Local Scholar Search - Ask IHS to find a local scholar to present a topic of his/her choosing.
It's up to you to negotiate speaking fees and travel (if any). But these costs should remain modest.
Contact Christopher Snapp < email@example.com or 703-993-7161 > at IHS for more information and to schedule an IHS scholar for your chapter.
